God Sent (Jamal Yearwood)

The nature of God is overwhelming. He went beyond all expectations and sent His family to draw us closer to Him.

He sent His son "Jesus" to die on our behalf, as a constant reminder of His love and His power. He died but also rose again. He sent the last of the Godhead as a constant guide leading me to do right, and to follow the path of salvation. He is the "Holy Spirit" a part of God Himself.

He even sent "personal guards", Lord knows we keep the Angels busy.

He sent His daughter "Mercy" she lets me know that my sins would be forgiven, all I needed to do was ask.

He sent His daughter "Grace" who lets me know that though I fall short, through God I can obtain perfection.

Along with them, He sent their sister "Joy" that my heart, even though it may know sadness, would consistently have a reason to praise.

Praise God with everything you have today, because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

2 Peter 1:3-8 NIV

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
