Choose to be Positive (Cheryl Grogan)

The year has just started, and you might still be looking for ways to improve your lives and well-being for 2022 and beyond. One area you may want to consider seriously is your health. To stay healthy, it is important to have a positive attitude towards all of life’s situations.

Let us ask God to help us overcome pessimism and cultivate a positive outlook.  Every morning when we open our eyes claim Psalm 118: 24 which reminds us “this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Here are a few tips to encourage us to achieve this goal of becoming a healthier and more positive person.

    1. Look at the positive side of every situation… there must be at least one.
    2. Surround yourself with positive people.
    3. Use positive and appropriate words when communicating with others.
    4. Count to 10 and take deep breaths when you are disturbed.
    5. And most importantly, ask God for strength and wisdom to face difficult circumstances and learn from them.

Psalm 37: 4 admonishes us to “take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Smile your heart out; enjoy your life as much as you can; always try to be positive.

The choice is yours!!

Wishing you a happy, healthy and productive new year.
