When my mind is darkness -  with clouds of depressing rains that seem like endless failure flood my thoughts. The waters of the flood flow down my face as the tears I can no longer retain - gush out. Where did my joy go? How did I get in this place of great calamity?

My heart that once beat with the soul of a slave that wades in the waters knowing freedom was near; now beats with the soul of a slave off to be traded, singing a song of sorrow.

There is light after the clouds no matter how long they stay, as long as you rest your hope in God faith in Jesus and steps in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the sun will surely shine again.

1 John 4:4 (KJV)  - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
